WEAR: The Rails Everest Coat
I love this time of year as the cold weather starts to set in and more layers are required. I just feel there are so many more styling options with soft cashmere knits, denim everyday (my favourite, of course!), great boots and what inevitably becomes the hero piece of all my winter outfits - an amazing coat!
The Everest coat has been a huge hit for Rails and fortunately for us its a style they now have on offer all-year-round so we’ve been able to bring it in just as we go into winter! Not always easy for us being in the Southern hemisphere and working with Northern hemisphere brands.
Cut from a heavy wool-blend that feels soft and sumptuous, this coat is unlined with with a single button closure, features dolman sleeves and a loose fit, which is ideal over chunky knits and I love the large patch front pockets. Available in heather grey, camel and oatmeal, they are all equally as classic and as versatile as each other. So if you’re looking for a winter wardrobe coat staple that will see you through many winters to come, this one is worthy of the investment .
Here’s three winter outfits with the Everest coats styled with some of our latest arrivals to get you inspired :)
