AFARI - Tried and tested with amazing results!

Afari Skincare South Africa
I've never been one for spending tons of money or time on my skin, but I am fussy about what products I use especially now that I'm in my late forties and actually seeing what years of living in SA has done to my skin :(
Time is a major factor for me as in the morning I'm always in a rush and at night too tired to make an effort, so my skincare routine needs to be quick, easy and effective.  I have also become completely paranoid about using products with harsh chemicals and don't support testing on animals.
So when I received my first Starter Collection of AFARI products I couldn't wait to try them out as they seemed to tick all the right boxes.  With only four products in the range, the simplicity was appealing - cleanse, apply elixir and moisturiser - that's it!

I could see results within the first few days of using these.  My skin looked brighter and didn't feel greasy, but well moisturised. I also love the smell of the botanical ingredient (Bulbine frutescens) - I find it fresh and soothing - although this might not be the same for everyone, it's another tick in my book!

If I had to choose just one product I would go for the  Brightening Elixir as I can visibly see my dark/sun spots have lightened and people have actually commented on my glowing complexion.

To top it off, all the products are locally produced on an organic farm in Limpopo and harvested by women, so it feels good to be supporting a community.

Here are some key benefits of Bulbine frutescens as quoted by AFARI:

  • Immediately noticeable skin tightening of the skin
  • Quickly and reliably minimises the appearance of wrinkles
  • Clinical trials have shown that wrinkles around the eye area may reduce by up to 74% one hour after use
  • Scientifically proven to visibly lift and improve the structure of sagging skin
